Amouage Honour Woman

Honour Woman — white-floral / aromatic-oriental. It opens with a spicy-green splash of pepper, rhubarb leaves, and coriander, giving a brisk, slightly sharp freshness that cuts through sweetness and immediately adds complexity. Then the heart blooms into a lush bouquet: tuberose, jasmine, gardenia, lily-of-the-valley and carnation — a rich, creamy white-floral heart that carries warmth and depth rather than candy-sweetness, more like elegant florals on aged wood than a girly perfume.

As it dries down, the base brings in amber, incense (frankincense / opoponax), vetiver, leather and soft resins — a woody-resinous, slightly smoky-leather foundation that grounds the florals with maturity, seriousness and skin-like warmth. The effect is clean, somewhat powdery but also hauntingly elegant; many who wear it note good longevity and a close-to-skin trail that smooths into a subtle but refined aura over hours.
